Organizational Context

The Planning Commission / Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives serves as a key think tank for the Government of Pakistan. It provides essential technical and professional inputs for the formulation and implementation of socio-economic plans and policies.

Position Overview

The Ministry is seeking a highly experienced Macro-Economic Modeling Advisor with expertise in economic forecasting, policy analysis, and quantitative modeling. This position is offered on a purely contract and merit basis under the project 'Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of M/o PD&SI'.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess at least a 16-year professional degree, which includes a 2nd Class Master's Degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience Required

A minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant post-qualification work experience is required. This experience should be with public/private sector national or international departments.

Remuneration

The position offers remuneration at the PPS-11 level.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 63 years.
