Job Overview

SSGC is seeking a Lead Manager - Local Purchases & Vendor Management (Job Code 8430-01) for their Procurement department. This position is key to managing local procurement and vendor relations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The main mandate of this position is to support the order management head in planning, supervising, and monitoring all activities related to the procurement of goods, supplies, equipment, and containers from local sources. The mandate also includes organizing and managing the procurement of vendorized goods (specific meters) relating to meter manufacturing plants. Ensures procurement process of local purchases and vendorized items comply with Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and SSGCL procurement policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: MBA preferably in Supply Chain from HEC recognized university.
• Experience: At least 9 years of experience. Candidate must have at least 04 years of relevant experience as a Functional / Team Lead.
• Certification: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Experience of PPRA rules and regulations is mandatory.
