Program Overview

Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO), a leading Public Sector Utility Company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), is offering a paid internship program for graduates and early-career professionals. Role and Department Overview

Interns in the Internal Audit department will learn about the processes of evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. You will assist in conducting audits, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This is an excellent foundation for a career in audit and assurance.

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for an internship in the Internal Audit department, you must have one of the following qualifications:

CA / CMA (Intermediate)
CIMA qualified
ACCA qualified
MBA (Finance)
M.Com or equivalent

Internship Duration and Stipend

The internship will be offered for an initial period of 06 months, extendable based on performance (maximum two years). Interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000/-, with a 20% increase on each extension.

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

Candidates must meet the following general criteria:

Possess the requisite qualification from an HEC-recognized university or a recognized professional body of accountants with a minimum of 60% marks or a 2.5 CGPA.
The maximum age limit is 30 years.
