Role Overview

The Infection Control Nurse plays a critical role in preventing healthcare-associated infections by developing, implementing, and evaluating infection control measures, conducting surveillance, educating staff, and ensuring compliance with protocols.

Contract Details

This position is offered on a one-year contract basis, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

A nursing degree (BScN preferred) with valid PNC registration is required. Additional certification or demonstrable experience in Infection Prevention and Control is essential. Experience in a hospital setting, particularly paediatrics, is advantageous.
