About SICHN

The Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology is a specialized Government of Sindh hospital in Karachi, established under the SICHN Act 2018. We seek dedicated nursing professionals, preferably domiciled in Sindh, to join our team.

Role Overview

The Assistant Head Nurse supports the Head Nurse in managing a nursing unit, ensuring high standards of patient care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating unit activities. Leadership skills and clinical expertise in paediatrics/neonatology are crucial.

Contract Details

This position is contractual for an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extension contingent upon satisfactory performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Requires a relevant nursing degree (e.g., BScN or Diploma in General Nursing with specialization) and valid PNC registration. Significant post-qualification experience in nursing, preferably with some supervisory experience in a paediatric setting, is necessary.
