Key Responsibilities of an HR Executive
The HR Executive role at Dunya TV encompasses a wide range of essential human resource functions. Primarily, the position involves managing end-to-end HR operations and recruitment processes, which includes overseeing employee onboarding, meticulous documentation, and seamless exit formalities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and regularly updating employee records within HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.A critical aspect of this role is to ensure accurate and timely payroll coordination, managing attendance records, and handling leave management effectively. Furthermore, the HR Executive will be instrumental in supporting performance management processes, utilizing data analytics for deriving valuable insights and identifying areas for improvement, all while ensuring full compliance with established company policies. Daily operations will involve handling employee queries and grievances, providing consistent HR support, and assisting in drafting and implementing HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This also includes ensuring legal compliance with various labor laws, EOBI (Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution), and social security regulations. Collaboration with different departments is key to ensuring smooth HR operations and continuous process improvements. Lastly, the role requires active participation in supporting training programs, engagement activities, and preparing comprehensive HR reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills Required
To be eligible for the HR Executive position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Degrees from reputable institutions such as PU (Punjab University), LUMS (Lahore University of Management Sciences), LSE (Lahore School of Economics), GCU (Government College University), UET (University of Engineering and Technology), FCCU (Forman Christian College University), or FAST University are highly preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in HR operations or similar roles is essential, demonstrating a practical understanding of human resource functions.Candidates should possess strong knowledge of core HR processes, including payroll management, and a thorough understanding of compliance requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and various HRIS systems is a mandatory skill, as these tools are critical for daily tasks and data management. Knowledge of Power BI and other data analytics and visualization tools will be a significant advantage, enabling the candidate to interpret HR data effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are paramount for interacting with employees and management. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are also required to manage multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently. Finally, the HR Executive must demonstrate an unwavering ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
