Head Branch Banking Division

Role Overview

Bank of Khyber invites applications from exceptionally strong, goal-oriented professionals to lead its Branch Banking Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the bank's entire branch network concerning Liabilities, Deposits, and Retail Products. This position is based at the Head Office in Peshawar and reports directly to the Retail Banking Group.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Minimum Graduation degree is required. However, preference will be given to candidates holding a Master's degree or any other equivalent banking-related degree from a university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Foreign qualifications require an equivalency certificate from HEC.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of working experience in the Banking/Financial Industry is mandatory. At least 10 years of this experience must be in Liabilities / Deposits Marketing & Management, with a minimum of 05 years in a senior-level role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Head Branch Banking Division will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the countrywide Branch Banking Network for Liabilities / Deposits / Retail Products.
• Developing strategies to increase CASA (Current Account & Savings Account) deposits to improve the bank’s cost of funds.
• Identifying low-performing branches and implementing strategic interventions.
• Supervising Retail Heads, Area Managers, Branch Managers, and Business staff within the Retail Banking network to achieve assigned targets.
• Overseeing and coordinating with various functions for bank-wide business initiatives, including the introduction of new products.
• Performing any other responsibility assigned by the Management.

Compensation and Benefits

A market-based remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate.
