Job Overview

Applications are invited by the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Bard Division, Sheikhupura, for 9 temporary (work charge) posts of Gauge Reader for a period of 45 days in 2025. Gauge Readers are responsible for monitoring water levels at designated points.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Literate.
• Physical Fitness: Must be healthy and physically fit.
• Skills: Must know how to swim (minimum 33% marks required in swimming test).
• Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Sheikhupura District.
• Age: 18 to 45 years.

Appointment Details

This is a purely temporary appointment on a work charge basis for 45 days, governed by the Government of Punjab's recruitment policies (Admin Department No.S(E-III)8-6/2021 dated 20-01-2022). The employment can be terminated without prior notice.

Application Process

Submit applications on plain paper, including attested copies of CNIC, Domicile, two recent passport-size photographs, and educational certificates (if applicable), to the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Bard Division, Sheikhupura, by May 12, 2025.

Interview/Test Schedule

Interviews and relevant tests will be conducted on May 14, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Bard Division, Sheikhupura. Applicants should bring original documents. No TA/DA will be paid for attending.
