Key Responsibilities and Your Role as FEDC Engineer

As an FEDC Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Front-End Design and Construction activities in accordance with approved project specifications, drawings, and procedures.
You will work closely with design teams to finalize front-end engineering deliverables and ensure their smooth transition into construction phases. Your duties will also include monitoring project schedules, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions to keep work on track. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants for design clarifications and execution alignment is crucial. Additionally, you will ensure quality assurance and compliance with engineering standards, codes, and HSE policies, manage site documentation, progress reporting, and technical issue resolution. Supporting procurement teams in evaluating vendor documents and technical submissions and overseeing the integration of FEDC deliverables into commissioning and project handover stages are also key aspects of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, with PEC registration being mandatory. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Front-End Design & Construction within EPC projects is required, with a preference for experience in mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and safety requirements is essential. Familiarity with cranes, earth-moving machinery, concrete batching plants, generators, and related tools is also expected. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, and various document control software (e.g., Aconex, EDMS, or Excel-based logs) for design, review, and reporting is necessary. Ideal candidates will possess excellent coordination and problem-solving skills, be honest, reliable, detail-oriented, have good organizational and record-keeping skills, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in challenging site conditions. A willingness to be based full-time in Reko Diq Project, Balochistan, is a must.
