Diver Grade-I

Job Overview

WAPDA invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates for the post of Diver Grade-I (BPS-14) in the office of CE (Power) Tarbela. This appointment will be on a contract basis, initially for a period of 01 year, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements. A total of 4 positions are available.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be qualified in 'Deep Diving' from the Pakistan Navy School for Deep Water. A minimum of 10 years of practical experience in deep diving is mandatory for this position.

Age Limit and Quota

The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years. The available posts are distributed based on the following quota:

• Punjab (Open): 02 posts
• Sindh (Rural - Open): 01 post
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK - Open): 01 post

Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of applications.

General Conditions and Instructions

• The written test will be conducted by M/s OTS & interviews will be conducted by WAPDA.
• Government employees may apply through the proper channel and submit the requisite NOC/permission.
• Educational Certificates / Degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities / Concerned Boards / Institutes.
• Original documents must be presented by the candidates at the time of the interview.
• The services on a contract basis shall not be regularized.
• Candidates dismissed or debarred from service are not eligible.
• WAPDA reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for tests/interviews.
• Incomplete, incorrect, or late applications will be rejected.
• Providing bogus information will result in termination.

How to Apply

1. Candidates must visit the M/s OTS website (www.ots.org.pk) for registration and submission of applications within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
2. Candidates shall pay a test fee of Rs. 200/- to OTS. The test fee must be paid in any Branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL on the prescribed Bank Challan form downloadable from the OTS website.
3. Candidate must specify the post (Diver Grade-I) against which they are applying.
4. Candidates are required to send the complete prescribed application form along with attested copies of all educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, relevant documents/experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, and the original fee Challan.
5. Send the application package through courier service / Pakistan Post to: Manager Operations (WAPDA), Open Testing Service, Office No.1, Central Avenue, Bahria Town Phase-VI, Islamabad.
6. Candidates will be informed about roll number slips, test centers, test date, and timing via text message by OTS.
7. Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date shall not be entertained.
8. After applying, candidates are advised to regularly check the Testing Agency's website (www.ots.org.pk) for important announcements related to the recruitment against applied posts.
