Job Overview

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP) is seeking a Director Project Development (DPD) for its operations in Peshawar. This position is offered by the Local Government, Elections & Rural Development Department on a contract basis for one year (extendable) for a donor-assisted project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Number of Positions: 01
• Qualification: Preferably Master's degree in civil engineering, water and sanitation engineering, project management or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12 years of relevant experience in managing civil engineering mega projects, preferably water, sanitation and infrastructure projects, adequate knowledge of engineering and project management practices. Comprehensive knowledge of modern engineering techniques and technologies, knowledge of policies and rules of development donors and international financing institutions and experience with implementation. Preference will be given to those who possess relevant experience with Donors (ADB and WB) or their funded projects and overseas relevant experience / relevant experience with international organization and Government Institutions.

General Terms & Conditions:

• All positions are project-based and therefore should not be considered as regular or permanent.
