Job Overview

PEDO is inviting applications for the position of Director (Information Technology) (BPS-19). This strategic role involves leading the IT department, developing and implementing IT strategies, and ensuring the technological infrastructure supports PEDO's objectives. The Director will be key in driving digital transformation and managing IT systems and security.

Key Responsibilities

The Director (Information Technology) will oversee the implementation of ERP systems, programming, system analysis, IT operations, network infrastructure and administration, and cybersecurity. The role requires expertise in enterprise solutions and a focus on improving operational efficiency through technology. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the energy sector, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess at least a Second Class Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Software System Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a HEC recognized university.

Experience Requirement:

• A minimum of twelve (12) years' experience in BPS-17 and above.
• This must include at least three (3) years' experience in BPS-18 or an equivalent position in the field of Programming, System Analysis, and Operational Management within a Government, autonomous, semi-autonomous, or private sector organization at a national or international level.

Relevant experience should demonstrate expertise in the key responsibilities listed, particularly in ERP implementation, system analysis, IT operations management, and cybersecurity.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for this position is 45 years. Age relaxation may be applicable as per PEDO regulations.
