Chief Information Technology Officer

Position Overview

PESCO is looking for a visionary Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to lead its IT department. Reporting to the CEO, the CITO will be responsible for the overall technology strategy, infrastructure, information systems, and IT governance. The initial appointment term is three years.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

The candidate must possess strong leadership, change management, and interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, managing complex projects, integrating teams, and designing effective IT governance frameworks for service delivery.

Qualification & Experience

• 16-year degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field from an HEC recognized local/foreign university.
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management position.
• In-depth knowledge and good experience of information systems including enterprise resource planning systems, software, languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends.
• Experience in leading complex, major changes and initiatives, demonstrated skills in change management.
• Experience with integrating teams across multiple organizational and business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Substantial experience in designing and effective information governance framework across the spectrum of IT service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Upper age limit of 57 years.

4. Submit the application along with the following documents: Copies of degrees/testimonials verified by HEC/relevant body, detailed CV with two recent passport-size photographs, attested copies of CNIC and experience documents, two work references and two personal references, and a declaration on non-judicial stamp paper (duly attested) affirming eligibility as per relevant laws.
