Database Administrator

Role Overview

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the hospital's database systems. Your duties will include planning, development, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of our databases. You will manage Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, handle backups and recovery, and perform regular maintenance and performance tuning.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualification: A Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification relevant experience in database administration from reputed public or private sector organizations.
• Skills: Sound knowledge of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition (OS: Linux), WebLogic Server Administration, Database Backup and Recovery, Patching, SQL Writing, Database Tuning, and Vulnerability Management. Expertise in using tools like PL/SQL and Toad is also required.
• Preference: Preference may be given to candidates with an International Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) - DBA Track Certification and experience in a healthcare setting.
