Role Overview

PCB is looking for an enthusiastic individual to take on the critical role of Director High Performance. The incumbent will be responsible for working on the development of cricket in Pakistan. This involves collaborating closely with Heads of Academies and Coaches to ensure an ample and continuing supply of skilled cricket players for the National Team.

Required Education and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation or an international equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of Administrative/Coaching experience.
• Preference will be given to former Test/International Cricketers.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior executive leadership role managing an elite high-performance sport program.
• Experience in developing strategic frameworks that support the development of world-class athletes.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

The Director High Performance will be responsible for:

• Conceptualizing and implementing projects for the development of High-Performance Centers/Academies workforce and player pathways, as approved by the Board.
• Preparing and monitoring the implementation of the annual budget for game development and High-Performance Centers/Academies.
• Monitoring expenditures and budgets for High Performance Centers.
• Overseeing the quality of coaching and training camps held at High-Performance Centers/Academies for the National, A, U-19, and U16 teams.
• Securing participation and arranging lectures by cricketing stars on topics of interest to the National team and upcoming cricketers.
• Supervising the maintenance and upgradation of full-fledged libraries and cricket archives.
• Arranging coach education programs.
• Promoting the induction and development of teams of qualified coaches, physios, doctors, and trainers.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Strong planning, organizing, and executing capabilities.
• High competence in planning team/individual skills enhancement strategies.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with problem-solving skills.
