Job Overview

The Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training intends to hire the services of a Director General (MP-1) for the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) on a contract basis. The initial contract is for a period of three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval by the relevant authority. The Director General shall serve as the Chief Executive Officer of PIE and provide strategic leadership for advancing education research, policy innovation, sector planning, national assessments, and evidence-based reforms in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities and Role

As the Chief Executive Officer, the selected candidate will spearhead initiatives in educational research and policy development. Key duties include driving sector planning, overseeing national assessments, and implementing evidence-based reforms to improve the overall educational framework in Pakistan.
