Organization Overview

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA), under the Government of the Punjab, is embarking on a significant project titled “Rehabilitation and Development of Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh for Promotion of tourism and preservation of tangible and intangible heritage, Multan”. This project aims to enhance the historical site and improve visitor amenities. WCLA invites applications from eligible and qualified individuals (Male/Female) from Punjab domiciled for this purpose.

Position Summary

The Deputy Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing aspects of the project, ensuring timely and effective execution of tasks related to engineering and architecture. This position is based in Multan.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise project activities related to civil engineering and architecture.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required.
• Contribute to the overall success of the heritage preservation project.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Civil Engineer / Architect Registered with PEC/PCATP.
• Experience: 7 years in the relevant field.
• Domicile: Punjab.

Important Notes:

• The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be for the duration of the project.
• The above-mentioned post is for appointment in Multan.
• Offered salary is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances).
• NOC for government servants is required at the time of submission of the job application.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected, and only shortlisted candidates shall be intimated/called for test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for test/interview.
• WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
• The last date for submission of applications is 31 May 2025. Any application received after the due date shall not be considered.
