SECP, the apex regulator of the capital market and corporate sector of Pakistan, requires the services of a qualified, result-oriented, energetic, and enthusiastic professional with impeccable integrity and exceptional technical and analytical skills for an Islamabad-based position in its Information Systems and Technology Division (IS&TD) on a regular basis.

Position Summary

The position available is for Deputy Director (Principal Database Administrator). This is a significant role within the IS&TD, contributing to the management and administration of critical database systems for the commission.

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized university or institute.

Experience Required

A minimum of 06 years of post-qualification relevant experience is required as of the application deadline. This experience should be directly related to database administration and management.

Age Limit

The maximum age for applicants should not exceed 40 years on the last date of submission of the application. However, candidates who have at least 3 years of experience working with a regulator will be given an age relaxation of 5 years, extending the maximum age to 45 years for eligible individuals.
