Job Overview
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is seeking a highly competent and innovative Consultant for its IT Section. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing the Authority's digital infrastructure and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a variety of modern technologies, including back-end programming, front-end development, and database management, ensuring robust and efficient IT operations.Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience is required. This experience must include proficiency in technologies such as Python, Linux-based infrastructure, JavaScript (JS), XML, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, PostgreSQL, and various Front-end Frameworks.
- Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants who possess professional certifications in software and web development, demonstrating their commitment to industry best practices and advanced skills.
Remuneration and Benefits
The selected Consultant will be offered a competitive monthly remuneration package that aligns with prevailing market rates, recognizing their specialized technical skills and experience required for this role. Applicable taxes will be deducted in accordance with government regulations. This position is initially offered on a one-year contractual basis, with the potential for extension depending on satisfactory performance and the Authority's operational requirements.Age Limit
