Position Summary

Working within the Health And Safety Department at the Reko Diq Site, Balochistan, the Construction Safety Supervisor will provide critical OHS support across construction projects and operations. This involves ensuring adherence to safety systems, facilitating investigations, coordinating inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or relevant qualifications (desirable). Any recognized Certificate or Diploma in OHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OHSAS, NASP, etc.) is highly regarded. Formal Accident Investigation Training (e.g., ICAM/Taproot/Loss Causation) is needed.
• Experience: Operational experience in Health, Safety, Loss Prevention, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience working in Construction / Resources industries is required, along with experience in writing procedures and working with safety management systems.
• Requirements: Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice. Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills. Ability to self-direct learning and demonstrate strong organization and planning skills. Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide OHS support across construction projects and operations, ensuring adherence to safety systems, Core Values, and the OHS Management Plan. Facilitate accident investigations, audits, and safety coaching. Coordinate safety inspections, participate in the Critical Control Management Program, and support emergency response and OH&H programs. Advise management and contractors on safety regulations, trends, and compliance, and assist with safety interactions and meetings.
