The Commissioner, DIKhan Division, is inviting applications for the position of Computer Operator. This role is vital for maintaining the digital infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems across various governmental departments. Key duties associated with the Computer Operator position include, but are not limited to:- Operating and managing computer systems and related equipment.
- Performing data entry, processing, and retrieval tasks accurately.
- Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
- Ensuring data security and maintaining backup procedures.
- Assisting staff with technical inquiries and providing support for various applications.
Educational Background and Age Requirement
Applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:I. At least a second-class Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (BCS/BIT four-year) from a recognized university.
OR
II. At least a second-class Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university along with a one-year Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
The age limit for candidates is between 18 to 28 years. This position is open to both male and female candidates. Domicile holders of DIKhan Division are eligible for these government jobs.
Terms and Conditions for Applicants
All candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA Screening Test. However, detailed scrutiny will be conducted, and any ineligible candidate will be disqualified. Applicants must create a profile on the ETEA website and have their CNIC verified via a NADRA E-Sahulat kiosk before applying. Interview call letters will only be issued to short-listed candidates. The screening test will be prescribed and conducted by ETEA. The Commissioner, DIKhan Division, reserves the right to adjust the number of vacancies. Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through the appropriate official channels.Application Guidelines
Prospective candidates are required to apply online by visiting www.etea.edu.pk. Upon successful submission of the online application, an online deposit slip containing a token number and project code will be generated. The prescribed, non-refundable test fee must be deposited through the Easypaisa app, any branch of UBL, or a UBL OMNI agent. It is essential to keep the original candidate copy of the deposit slip. Physical documents and testimonials should not be sent; they will only be required from candidates who qualify for the screening test for scrutiny purposes. The online application form will be accessible on www.etea.edu.pk from October 20th, 2025. The deadline for online application submission is 11th November, 2025. Candidates will be informed about their roll numbers, test dates, times, and venues via SMS, which can then be downloaded from the ETEA website.
