Job Overview
The Health & Population Department, representing the Government of the Punjab, invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Communication Officer (Social & Digital). This role is offered on a contract basis within the Program Management Unit (PMU) for the World Bank funded project titled 'Punjab Family Planning Program (PFPP)'. This position is based in Lahore. Female and transgender candidates are highly encouraged to apply.Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent (sixteen years of education) in Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, Media, or a closely related discipline. The degree must be awarded by a foreign or local university duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Only degrees issued by universities/institutes recognized by the HEC or reputed foreign universities with HEC equivalence will be considered valid.Experience and Skills
A minimum of three years of documentary verifiable experience in a relevant field is mandatory, acquired after obtaining the required qualifications. Specific experience is required in the formulation of communication strategies/plans and handling communication initiatives using Social and Digital media platforms.Experience working within development projects, particularly those assisted by foreign entities, will be considered an advantage.
Application Procedure

Submit the duly filled online application form along with the original deposit slip (showing payment of the prescribed fee through designated channels like 1Link 1Bill, participating banks, ATMs, internet/mobile banking, Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash, TCS Express Counters) in favour of National Testing Services.
3. Include a copy of your CNIC and two recent passport-size photographs.
4. Send the complete application package directly to the NTS office via courier at: National Testing Service, Plot # 96 Street 4, H-8/1 H 8/1 H-8, Islamabad.
5. The deadline for application submission is 16th May, 2025. Applications must arrive by this date.
6. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date/office hours will not be entertained.

8. Candidates already working in Government/Semi-government/autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.
Selection and General Conditions
Selection will involve an NTS test. Candidates need to score at least 50% marks to qualify. The test date will be communicated to eligible/shortlisted candidates only through NTS. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Candidates must bring all original documents, plus a set of attested photocopies, to the interview. Submission of fake documents or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification. No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview. The Department reserves the right to reject any application or cancel the entire recruitment process at any stage without providing a reason.Submit Application
