About the Role

National Bank of Pakistan is looking for a talented, dedicated, and experienced professional for the position of Chief Technology Officer (SEVP) in Karachi, Pakistan. The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, which may be renewed on the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered a competitive compensation package and other benefits as per Bank Policy and rules.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following eligibility standards:

Age: Maximum 57 years on the last date of application submission.
Education: Master degree from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC in Business Studies, Information Technology, or Finance.
Experience: Minimum 22 years of experience in the field of Information Technology preferably within a Bank with at least 05 years as Chief Technology Officer and / or similar position OR 08 years at senior leadership role not below as one down of CIO / CTO or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Providing strategic direction for technology function that supports integrated solutions, including infrastructure, network services, applications, and change delivery.
Developing and maintaining an appropriate operating model that enables the technological function to deliver on the needs of the business.
Leading technology and Digital Strategic / Operational Planning to support achievement of business goals.
Reviewing, maintaining, and developing IT policy and procedures which support the Bank business and strategic objective.
Driving growth by converting traditional businesses to digital ones, and overseeing operations in rapidly changing digital sectors.
