Role Overview

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Chief Technology Officer (SEVP) based in Karachi, Pakistan. The incumbent will report directly to the President & CEO and will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's technological future, ensuring secure, agile, and sustainable digital growth.

Educational and Professional Qualification

Candidates must hold a Master's degree from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC in Business Studies, Information Technology, or Finance.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of 22 years of experience in the field of Information Technology, preferably within a bank, including at least 05 years as Chief Technology Officer and / or similar position OR 08 years at senior leadership role not below as one down of CIO / CTO or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with strong project management background in Core Banking, cyber security measures, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction for technology function supporting integrated solutions.
Develop and maintain an appropriate operating model for business needs.
Lead technology and Digital Strategic / Operational Planning.
Maintain and develop system requirements to ensure operational risk is managed properly.
Review, maintain, and develop IT policy and procedures supporting bank strategy.
Drive growth by converting traditional businesses to digital ones, overseeing mobile and internet applications.
Evaluate overall operations of computing and Information Technology functions.
