About the Role

The Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) is seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the organization into its next phase of operational excellence, transformation, and sustainable growth.
The COO will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization, ensuring effective execution of business strategy, enhanced productivity, strong governance, and sustained organizational performance.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Candidates interested in applying for this leadership position must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position.
• Proven track record of leading and managing industrial/manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving organizational transformation, operational improvement, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for PMTF's overall operations and drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
• Lead organization-wide business performance, operational strategy, and execution of strategic objectives.
• Drive transformation, process optimization, productivity enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Establish effective performance management frameworks, KPIs, and accountability mechanisms to deliver measurable results.
• Strengthen corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational controls.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
