Hyderabad Water & Sewerage Corporation (HW&SC), Hyderabad Sindh, is a Public sector utility responsible for supplying clean, safe drinking water and providing sewerage services to the people of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Area. HW&SC is undergoing an institutional reform aimed at operational efficiency and financial viability. The board is seeking high-caliber professionals with a history of significant achievements to lead this transformation.

Job Profile: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) must possess the skills to develop and implement sound financial management strategies focused on increasing revenue and ensuring effective financial control. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Corporation's capital management, expenditure control, and investment opportunities. The CFO will manage accounting functions, ensure compliance, and represent the Corporation at financial forums, including interactions with the Auditor General of Pakistan and external auditors. A strong background in finance, strategic planning, and financial oversight is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

Suitable candidates should possess:

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration OR
• A related field from a university/institution recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan OR
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, out of which 05 years should be in a Senior Management Position.

Age and Tenure

• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
• Tenure: The position is contractual for an initial period of 4 years, extendable on mutually agreed terms with the approval of the Hyderabad Water & Sewerage Corporation Board.
