Assistant Specialist (Legal)

Job Overview

Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) is mandated to provide policy and technical support to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division). The organization is seeking applications for the Assistant Specialist (Legal) position. The initial 3 months shall be on probation and thereafter continued as per company policy. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and be IT savvy.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA)

• Excellent command of professional/ legal writing, meeting facilitation, and institutional documentation protocols.
• Strong legal research acumen, drafting, project coordination and organizational skills.
• Understanding and willingness to work with AI tools for legal research, drafting, and knowledge management.
• Relevant and credible experience in government/regulatory and/or power sector may be given preference.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor of Laws from an HEC accredited/recognized university.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a reputable national, multinational organization, public sector organization and/or reputed law firm.
• License: License to practice before District Courts of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
