Assistant Research Officer

Position Overview

The High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Establishment is seeking applications from eligible candidates who are residents of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (both male and female) for the post of Assistant Research Officer (BPS-17). This position is offered on a permanent basis under the Recruitment Rules 2020 (as amended).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be an Advocate with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the legal field.

Application Procedure

1. Eligibility: Only eligible candidates should apply.
2. Online Submission: Applications must be submitted ONLINE through the official website: www.ajkhighcourt.gov.pk.
3. Age Limit: Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Civil Servants (Relaxation of Age Limit) Rules, 1997.
4. Deadline: The last date for submission of online applications is May 5, 2025, up to 11:59 PM.
5. Accuracy: Ensure all information provided in the online form (Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, Qualification, Experience, Address, Contact Number, Email, WhatsApp, CNIC etc.) is accurate and spelled correctly. Upload a recent photograph. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited.
6. Processing Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1800/- must be deposited in the National Bank of Pakistan, Muzaffarabad Branch, Account No: 101, Account Title: Azad Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
7. Fee Slip Details: Enter the deposit slip number and date accurately in the online application form.
8. Hard Copy Submission: After submitting the online application, send the original deposit slip (Hard Copy) via courier/post to the Registrar, High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad. Keep a copy of the deposit slip for your records.
9. One Fee Per Post: The deposited fee is valid only for this specific recruitment process and cannot be used for any other purpose.

Selection Process and Important Notes

• Candidates will be called for a written test and interview based on scrutiny of applications.
• Providing false information or lacking the required experience may lead to legal action and disqualification from future recruitment in the High Court Establishment.
• The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test/interview.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide medical fitness and character certificates.
