Key Responsibilities

• Handle and monitor litigation cases before different courts/forums of law through external counsels.
• Review pleadings before filing for the courts and maintain the status of court cases and follow up with external lawyers.
• Vet agreements, MOUs, Addendums, etc. and other legal documents and render legal opinion in the matter if required.
• Provide legal advisory services and other required legal assistance to the departments on their different legal issues after review of Inquiry Reports, Charge Sheets, Show Cause notices, Court Orders and other relevant documents.
• Review all relevant contracts, agreements, letters, proposals, etc. to ensure compliance with the prevailing laws and regulations, and raise issues that may have legal and statutory implications to the Company.
• Keep abreast of legal and statutory development pertaining to the business of the Company, update and advise the supervisor accordingly.

Education

The candidate must have a Law Degree from an HEC-recognized Law School/University. An LL.M. would be an added advantage.

Experience

Possess overall 4 years of professional experience with a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in a junior management position.
