Assistant Professor Of Endocrinology

Position Overview

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is recruiting two (02) Assistant Professors of Endocrinology (BS-18) on a regular basis for the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. This position involves teaching, research, and clinical responsibilities in endocrinology at various medical institutions across Punjab.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess:
i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council / Pakistan Medical Commission AND Postgraduate qualification (FCPS, MD, MRCP or Diplomate American Board) in Endocrinology recognized by PMDC/PMC.
OR
MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC AND Postgraduate qualification (FCPS, MD, MRCP or Diplomate American Board) in General Medicine or any other equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC AND One year experience in Endocrinology after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC.
ii) Three years experience in Endocrinology after post-graduation in an institution recognized by PMDC/PMC (if primary post-graduation is in Endocrinology).
Note: Only practical experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification will be considered. A valid (full) Permanent Registration Certificate from PMDC/PMC showing post-graduate qualification issued on or before the closing date is required.

Age Limit

• Male: 25 to 45 + 5 years general age relaxation = 50 years
• Female: 25 to 45 + 8 years general age relaxation = 53 years

Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Domicile and Posting

• Gender: Male, Female & Transgender
• Domicile: Candidates domiciled in any District of the Province of Punjab.
• Place of Posting: Various Universities / Medical Colleges and Hospitals in the Punjab.

Candidates must provide hard copies of their online application form along with photocopies of all relevant documents and valid experience certificates within seven (07) working days after the closing date. Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
