Organization Overview

The Medical Teaching Institution, Mardan (MTI Mardan), which includes Mardan Medical Complex and Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC), is seeking qualified candidates for merit-based appointments to strengthen its faculty.

Position Details

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor, equivalent to BPS-18. The specific specializations sought are:

• Anesthesia
• Emergency Medicine
• Intensive Care
• Dermatology

The service of the incumbent will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended) and the MTI Regulations.

Requisite Qualification and Experience

Qualifications and experience are required as per the MTI policy Board Regulations.
Note: In case of scarcity of eligible candidates, Fellows with deficiencies in experience/publication may be considered for appointment as Clinical Instructors at the level equivalent to Assistant Professor. Upon fulfillment of the required criteria, they shall be converted to the position of Assistant Professor without delay.

Terms and Conditions

• Upon appointment, the candidate will become a full-time institutional employee and must submit accepted resignation from any existing employment (local or abroad, including civil service).
• Candidates found guilty of perjury or providing false documentation/credentials at any stage will be disqualified/terminated.
• The institution reserves the right to decrease or increase the number of positions.
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
• Quota for minority/disabled individuals will be treated as per Government policy.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
• The positions may remain open until the appointment of the Chairpersons/filling of the vacancies.

6. The deadline for application submission is April 30, 2025 (Wednesday).
7. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
