Position Overview

The Medical Teaching Institution, Mardan (MTI Mardan) invites job applications from qualified candidates for merit-based appointments to the position of Assistant Professor. These roles are equivalent to BPS-18 and are available in the specializations of Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, and Dermatology.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications and experience as stipulated by the MTI Policy Board Regulations. Note: In case of a scarcity of eligible candidates, Fellows with deficiencies in experience/publication may be considered for appointment as Clinical Instructors at the level equivalent to Assistant Professor. Upon fulfillment of the required criteria, they shall be converted to the position of Assistant Professor without delay.

Terms & Conditions

• The service of the incumbent will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended) and the MTI Regulations.
• Upon appointment, the candidate will become a full-time institutional employee and will have to submit accepted resignation from any existing employment with any other entity, local or abroad, including civil service.
• Candidates providing false information or credentials at any stage will be disqualified/terminated.
• The institution reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions.
• Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately for each post.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
• The quota for minority/disabled individuals will be treated as per Government policy.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

1. Obtain the prescribed Job Application Form, available at www.mmckp.gov.pk.
2. Attach a Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable processing fee). The deposit should be made to the following account:

3. Submit the duly filled Job Application form along with the requisite attested documents (including degree/diploma, experience certificate, CNIC, domicile, 2x passport-size photos, etc.).
4. Send the complete application package through registered courier service, mentioning the post applied for on the envelope, to the address below:

5. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2025 (Wednesday).
6. Please note: Positions may remain open until the appointment of the Chairpersons/filling of the vacancies.
