Assistant Photographer/ Videographer

Job Overview

The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is looking for a creative and skilled Assistant Photographer/Videographer. This position will involve documenting WCLA's conservation and heritage preservation projects in Lahore and other cities across Punjab. The job is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of one year.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in photo and video shoots.
• Operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
• Editing photos and videos using software like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro.
• Understanding lighting, composition, and framing.
• Assisting in setup, shooting, and post-production tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have:

• Intermediate or equivalent certificate from a reputable institution.
• A Diploma or Degree in Photography, Videography, Film Production, Media Studies, or Visual Communication will be preferred.
• A minimum of 01 year of relevant practical working experience within the public or private sector (or both).

Skills Required

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Basic knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
• Familiarity with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Final Cut Pro).
• A good understanding of lighting, composition, and framing techniques.
• Ability to assist in all stages of production, from setup to post-production.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates meeting the criteria should follow the application process outlined below:
i. Applications for Sr. # 1 to 7 are to be submitted through the Punjab Job Portal: www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. Further job descriptions for every post are available on the Punjab Job Portal.
ii. The contract appointment is temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific, and confers no right for regularization. The contract appointment will be initially for 01 year, which can be extended or reduced by the competent authority.
iii. The offered salary against each post is on a lump-sum basis (including all allowances) with an annual increment according to Govt. of the Punjab notification (updated from time to time).
iv. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required for government servants at the time of job application submission.
v. Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated/called for a test/interview through call/e-mail etc.
vi. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the test/interview.
vii. WCLA reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any advertised post(s).
viii. The application should be submitted by the last date: 05-06-2025.
