Assistant Director (Electrical)

Position Overview

The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer for the regular post of Assistant Director (Electrical) (BPS-17). This position is open to both male and female candidates with a domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who are eager to work in a dynamic government organization.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this position, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• Basic Qualification: At-least a Second Class B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed public or private sector organization.
• Age Limit: 25-35 years.
• Note: Candidates must have a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) up to the closing date of the advertisement. Proof of renewal is required if the registration has expired.

General Terms & Conditions

• A screening test will be administered by ETEA. Provisional allowance to appear in the test is based on the provided credentials, subject to final scrutiny.
• Applicants must meet all eligibility criteria by the application deadline.
• Age relaxation will be granted according to government regulations.
• Individuals currently employed in Government/Semi-Government organizations should apply through the proper channel.
• No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be paid for the test or interview.
• Candidates with foreign degrees are required to submit an equivalence certificate from HEC.

Application Process

All applications must be submitted online following the procedure below:

1. Visit the ETEA official website, www.etea.edu.pk, to access the online application form.
2. Create a user profile and complete the CNIC verification process through a NADRA E-Sahulat kiosk.
3. Fill out the online application form. Upon submission, an online deposit slip will be generated.
4. Pay the prescribed non-refundable test fee using the generated slip via Easypaisa or UBL OMNI services.
5. Retain the candidate's copy of the paid deposit slip for your records. Do not send any hard copies of documents to ETEA.
6. The online application facility will be available starting from 10th July 2025.
7. The final date for online application submission is 8th August 2025.
8. Separate applications and fees are required for each post a candidate wishes to apply for.
9. Information regarding the test and roll number slips will be communicated via SMS and the ETEA website.
