Assistant Director (Civil/Technical)

Position Overview

The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) invites online applications from eligible male and female candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the regular post of Assistant Director (Civil/Technical) (BPS-17). This is an excellent opportunity for qualified civil engineers to join a prominent government authority and contribute to the development of Peshawar.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:

• Basic Qualification: At-least a Second Class B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed public or private sector organization.
• Age Limit: 25-35 years.
• Note: A valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration is mandatory. The registration should be valid up to the closing date of the advertisement. If expired, proof of renewal application submitted on or before the closing date is required.

Terms & Conditions

• The screening test will be conducted by ETEA. Candidates will be provisionally allowed based on provided credentials, with detailed scrutiny by the appointing authority later.
• Candidates must be eligible in all respects by the last date of application submission.
• Age relaxation is admissible as per existing Government Rules.
• Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government bodies must apply through the proper channel.
• No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
• Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC.

How to Apply

The application process is entirely online. Please follow these steps carefully:

1. Interested candidates must visit the ETEA website at www.etea.edu.pk to apply online.
2. Candidates must first create a profile on the ETEA website and verify their CNIC through any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise/kiosk before applying.
3. After successfully submitting the online application, a prescribed online deposit slip will be generated.
4. Take a printout of the deposit slip and pay the non-refundable test fee through Easypaisa app/agent or any branch of UBL Bank via UBL OMNI.
5. Keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) safe. Do not send any documents to the ETEA office at this stage.
6. The online application form will be available from 10th July 2025.
7. The last date for the submission of the online application is 8th August 2025.
8. Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must apply separately with a separate fee for each.
9. Roll number slips will be available for download from the ETEA website, and candidates will be informed via SMS.
