Position Summary

The Armoured Bus Driver will be based at the Reko Diq SITE in Balochistan. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving large or armored vehicles and a commitment to safety.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification: High School Diploma; Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement; Clean driving record. Proven experience as a bus driver (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Physically able to sit for long periods and assist passengers as needed.
• Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license with endorsement for large vehicles and proven experience driving armored vehicles or similar. Strong knowledge of defensive driving, security protocols, and local traffic laws is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and high physical and mental stamina. Experience handling emergency situations, assisting passengers with special needs, and a background in customer service or public transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Must adhere to RDMC safety rules, operate vehicles safely, and attend safety training. Also include transporting passengers, providing logistic support, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness, and handling minor repairs. Also responsible for responding to emergencies, providing First Aid, and serving as a positive role model while delivering transportation services.
