Basic Eligibility

Candidates applying for the Allama Iqbal Visiting Fellowship Chair must meet the following criteria:

PhD degree from a HEC-recognized university / institution in a relevant research area in the humanities or social science.
Having an excellent record of teaching and research.
Will normally be at the level of Associate Professor or above.

Other Requirements

Applicants must fulfill several other requirements including:

A maximum of 55 years of age on the closing date of the advertisement will be eligible.
Must be proficient in the English language.
Familiarity with the culture, institutions, and people of the host country.
Capacity and competence of leadership to project the language, history, and culture of Pakistan in the host country.
Experience in mentoring, advocacy, communication, organizational at senior level, budget management, research grants, diplomacy, and media relations.
