Job Overview

The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Railways, Islamabad, is seeking a suitable professional to serve as an Advisor (MP-I Scale). The role is responsible for overseeing, supporting implementation, and giving policy advice regarding technical affairs of the Pakistan Railways system.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess either a Ph.D. in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent with 07 years of professional experience, OR a Master's degree in the same subjects with 09 years of professional experience in the relevant field. The maximum age limit is 62 years.

Terms and Conditions

Recruitment will be made under MP Scales Policy, 2020 issued by the Establishment Division. The appointment is on a contract basis initially for three (3) years, further extendable for a maximum period of two (2) years subject to satisfactory performance. Place of posting will be the Ministry of Railways, Islamabad, with frequent traveling all over Pakistan.
