Position Overview

The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd. (PPCBL) invites applications for the post of VP/Dy. Head, Learning & Development for its HR Division in Lahore. The role focuses on developing and implementing comprehensive learning and development strategies to enhance employee capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting Training Needs Assessment (TNA) & Analysis.
  • Budgeting & effective utilization of allocated resources.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with the bank's goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with senior leadership to assess learning needs and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives in learning (e-learning, learning platforms, microlearning, etc.).
  • Design and manage leadership development programs for various levels (e.g., emerging leaders, middle management, executives).
  • Oversee mandatory training programs, including compliance, risk, AML, KYC, data privacy, and other regulatory training.
  • Ensure technical training in products, services, customer service, and core banking systems.
  • Lead and develop the L&D team, instructional designers, and facilitators.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and training partners.
  • Measure the impact of training programs using KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
  • Continuously improve content based on performance data and evolving business needs.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholders Management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualification: MBA, MA Economics, M.Com, MCS, MIT, etc. (Relevant Master's degree).
  • Experience: Minimum 08 years post qualification experience, with at least 03 years in a similar position in a bank or financial institution.
  • Department: HR Division.
  • Age Limit: 35-50 years.
