Job Summary

The Employee Relations & Governance Head will lead the human resources and governance functions at The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd. This senior role is critical for developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing employee relations, and overseeing the recruitment and retirement processes, fostering a fair and productive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an HEC recognized University. A strong professional background is required, with at least 05 years of post-qualification experience, including a minimum of 03 years in a similar position within a bank or a reputable financial institution, with a proven track record in human resources and employee relations.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive HR Policies and Procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and effectively handle all HR Regulatory Matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and banking regulations.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process of staff in the bank, from talent acquisition to onboarding, ensuring fair and efficient hiring practices.
  • Supervise the handling of Disciplinary Action Matters of Bank employees as the Secretary of the Disciplinary Action Committee, ensuring impartial and timely resolution.
  • Supervise the handling of Complaints and Grievances, promoting a fair and equitable workplace environment.
  • Manage HR Matters with Government Agencies, ensuring all external reporting and compliance requirements are met.
  • Supervise the handling of various HR Audits and Compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal and external audit recommendations.
  • Oversee the entire process of staff retirement, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with all benefits and regulations.
