Islamia College Peshawar (Public Sector University) invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement as Visiting Faculty in the Department of Computer Science for the Academic Session 2026-27. This is a walk-in interview opportunity for qualified professionals looking to teach in a prestigious academic environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold an M.Phil/MS or equivalent Degree (18 years) from HEC recognized Universities/DAIs, or a Master Degree from a foreign University in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career. CGPA less than 3.00 out of 4.00 shall be considered as second division. Candidates holding a BS degree shall be engaged for teaching at the Intermediate level, whereas candidates possessing an M.Phil./MS degree shall be engaged for teaching BS-level and other relevant classes, subject to the requirements of the College.

Application and Interview Details

Candidates must deposit a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- in Account MCA No. 231098405, Code No: 54 (at any UBL branch). Candidates must appear for the interview on Monday 31.08.2026 at 10:00 am along with their updated CV, original educational documents, attested/photocopies of degrees/DMCs, CNIC, recent passport-size photograph(s), experience certificates (if any), and original fee deposit slip. Venue for the interview is the Department of Computer Science, Ahmad Faraz Block, Islamia College Peshawar.

General Instructions

• Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
• In case of a foreign degree, the applicant must produce an HEC Equivalence Certificate.
• In-service candidates shall apply through proper channel and must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer/Institution along with the application form.
• Upper age limit shall be 65 years.
• Incomplete applications and those received after the due date shall not be entertained.
