Veterinary Officer

Position Overview

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is recruiting seven Veterinary Officers (BS-17) on behalf of the Directorate of Livestock Production Research Institute, Bahadurnagar (Okara). These are regular positions with vacancies distributed as follows: three on open merit, one for special persons, and three for women. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified veterinarians to join the public sector.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The eligibility criteria for the Veterinary Officer position are straightforward:

• Education: A DVM / B.Sc. (Hons.) A.H degree from a recognized University.
• Registration: A valid registration certificate from the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) is mandatory and must be valid on or before the closing date.
• Experience: No prior experience is required.
• Age Limit: Male: 21 to 35 years; Female: 21 to 38 years (including age relaxation).

Syllabus for Written Examination

Candidates will be required to take a one-paper MCQ-type written test. The test will be of 100 marks and will have a duration of 90 minutes. The syllabus will consist entirely of:

• Questions relating to the DVM curriculum: 100%
