The Punjab Public Service Commission, Lahore, is seeking applications for various positions in the Punjab Prisons Department and Mines Labour Welfare Organization, Punjab, Mines & Minerals Department.

Position: Psychologist (BS-17)

Case No. & No. of Posts: 05-RB/2025, 06 Posts (Open Merit=04, Women Quota=01, Special Persons Quota=01)
Basic Scale, Name & Nature of Post: (BS-17) Psychologist (On Regular Basis)
Prescribed Qualification/Experience as per Service Rules:
i) MS or MPhil in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology or Behavioural Sciences from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; OR
ii) Sixteen Years’ education (second division) in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology or Behavioural Sciences from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
iii) Three years’ practical experience in Clinical Psychology.
Note:
i) Only such practical experience as gained after prescribed qualification shall be acceptable.
ii) Experience acquired from private entities shall be accepted only if such entity is registered with SECP or any other regulatory authority.
Age: Male: 21 to 30 + 05 = 35 Years, Female: 21 to 30 + 08 = 38 Years. As per Government of the Punjab Notification No. SOR-I(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016 Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

Important Notes

Change in the Priority/selection of examination centres after the fixation of written test shall not be allowed.
