Job Overview

PPCBL requires a Unit Manager Statutory Accounts. Master's degree in Accounting, Business & Finance, C.A or ACCA will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Lead preparation of annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements
Ensure full compliance with applicable IFRS standards including financial instruments, impairment (ECL), revenue recognition, leases, and disclosures
Manage financial statement disclosures, notes to accounts, and related working papers
Liaise with internal and external auditors for audit and resolve audit queries in a timely manner
Ensure implementation of new and revised IFRS standards and assess their financial impact
Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports for senior management and the Board
Ensure compliance of Audit observations (SBP, Internal Audit & External Audit)
Review reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Ensure compliance with periodic cut-offs and timely closure of accounting periods in ERP system

Qualification & Experience

Minimum 14 years education from HEC-recognized / foreign institution. Minimum 03 years of relevant or banking experience.
