Treasurer (BPS-20)

About the Role

Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University (SBKWU), a leading institution for women's empowerment in Balochistan, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Treasurer (BPS-20). This is a key leadership role offered on a three-year contract, responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and administration of the university. The Treasurer will oversee all accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and provide strategic financial guidance to the university's management.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

• Education: MBA (Finance), M.Com, or Master's in Economics from a recognized university.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 years of experience in accounts administration in a post equivalent to BPS-17 or above within a University, Board, Government Department, or an Autonomous Organization.
• Preferred Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with higher academic qualifications and at least two years of experience serving in a BPS-19 post.
• Skills: Strong computer skills with a special command of accounts-related software are essential.
• Age Limit: The maximum age for applicants is 55 years.
• Gender: Open to both Male and Female candidates.

1. Download the Application Form from the university's official website: www.sbkwu.edu.pk/jobs.
2. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 4,000/- must be submitted. This can be paid through a Challan form at the National Bank of Pakistan, BMC Branch, Quetta, or via a Bank Draft in favor of the 'Treasurer Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University Quetta'.
3. Attach attested copies of the following documents with the application form: CV, all educational degrees, detailed mark sheets, experience certificates, NOC (for government employees), three recent passport-size photographs, CNIC, and Local/Domicile Certificate.
4. The complete application package must be sent to the HR Department, SBKWU, Quetta.
5. The closing date for the receipt of applications is 24 July, 2025.

Important Notes:

• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Applicants already in government service must apply through the proper channel.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible.
