Treasurer (BPS-20)

Position Overview

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced a vacancy for the key leadership role of Treasurer (BPS-20). This position is offered on a regular basis at the AIOU Main Campus. The Treasurer will be responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and administration of the university's resources, playing a critical role in its strategic direction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following stringent requirements to be considered for this senior role:

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant / ACMA / CIMA, or a First Class Master's Degree in Business Administration (specializing in Finance) or Commerce from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: A minimum of 17 years of relevant experience in Grade 17 or above at a high level within a Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Body, or a national/international organization of repute. This must include 04 years of mandatory experience in BPS-19 or an equivalent position.
• Age Limit: The age limit for this position is 45+5 years.

2. Application Fee: A processing fee of Rs. 3000/- for BPS-20 posts is required. The fee challan can be downloaded from the AIOU Job Portal.

3. Submission Deadline: The last date for the submission of online applications is 16 June, 2025.

4. Verification: At the time of the written test/interview, candidates must bring their original certificates and the original paid fee challan for verification. Information claimed in the online form will be treated as final.

Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and obtain an NOC.
