Trained Graduate Teacher (Bs 16)

Job Overview

Applications are invited by the Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments/ Garrisons) Directorate, Ministry of Defence, from Pakistani Nationals for 400 posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in BS-16. These roles are contract-based for one year initially, with the possibility of a one-year extension. Selected TGTs can be posted anywhere across Pakistan in Federal Government Educational Institutions.

Minimum Qualification

Eligibility criteria for the TGT position include:

• A Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor Degree (14 Years’ Education) in the relevant subject from a university recognized by HEC.
• A B.Ed or equivalent Professional Qualification from a university recognized by HEC.

Subject-wise Post Distribution (Male/Female):

• English: 56 Male / 56 Female
• Urdu: 27 Male / 27 Female
• Maths: 39 Male / 39 Female
• Physics: 36 Male / 36 Female
• Chemistry: 20 Male / 20 Female
• Biology: 22 Male / 22 Female

Age Limit and Relaxation

The standard age limit for TGT (BS-16) is 20-28 years. A general age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is applicable.
Additional age relaxation rules are the same as mentioned for the SST position (3 years for specific regions/communities, 10 years for Govt. servants, 10 years for PWD, 15 years for retired Armed Forces personnel, 5 years for widow/widower/child of deceased civil servant), and only one category can be claimed.
Age and qualification will be determined based on the closing date of the advertisement.

Application and Registration Process

The application procedure is identical to the SST position:
1. Apply online via https://induction2025.fgei.gov.pk. No hard copies.
2. Upload all required valid documents during online submission.
3. The final date for online registration is 19 May 2025.
4. Shortlisted candidates (post-scrutiny) will be invited for a written test in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, or Quetta.
5. Download the roll number slip from the portal and bring it to the test.

Interview and Selection Process

Similar to the SST process:
Candidates successful in the written test will be called for an interview (details via letter).
Original documents must be presented during the interview.
Government employees need to provide a current NOC from their department.

Important Notes

The miscellaneous points are the same as for the SST position:

• Ineligibility due to dismissal, criminal record, or being a permanent government employee.
• Reliance on candidate-provided information; falsification leads to cancellation.
• No change in test/interview center requests after the deadline.
• Requirement of an affidavit from selected candidates.
• No TA/DA for test/interview.
