Job Overview

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Teller (OG-III) under Aitemaad Islamic Banking. Candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria to apply for this role. The selected candidates will be responsible for cash management, customer services, and various banking operations.

Educational and Professional Qualification

Applicants must have a minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Candidates having a Master's degree, Islamic Banking certification, or a degree/diploma from an HEC-recognized institute will be preferred.

Experience and Skills

Candidates are required to have a minimum of 01 year of banking experience, out of which at least 06 months must be in cash handling. Sound knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations regarding cash management, strong understanding of branch banking operations, and excellent customer service skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Outline of Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To receive cash from Branch Operations Manager or Supervisor and record denominations.
  • To provide account services to customers by receiving deposits and withdrawals.
  • To facilitate remittance, utility bills collection, and government receipts.
  • To ensure effective vault management and holding of cash keys as per Bank SOP.
  • To count and sort cash as per SBP directives and match with deposit slips.
  • To maintain highest standards of customer service to ensure zero complaint management.
