Job Overview

The Board of Revenue, Punjab (BOR) is responsible for collecting various government dues including Agriculture Income Tax, Stamp duty, Mutation Fee etc. For efficient tax administration, the BOR intends to hire the services of a highly experienced professional as Tax Economist on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Public Finance, Development Economics or relevant subject with 10 years post qualification professional experience in the relevant field. OR 16 years of education in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Public Finance, Development Economics or relevant subject with 14 years of post-qualification professional experience in the relevant field. The age limit is 45-55 years.

Salary and Tenure

The position is offered on a contract basis for three (03) years, extendable as per Management Pay Scales (MPS) of Punjab 2023. The pay package is Rs. 619,650/- (MPS-II) Plus Rs. 26,760/- annual increment.
