System Engineer

Job Overview

The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) is hiring a System Engineer (BPS-16). The System Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the institute's IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring high levels of availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure security of systems through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Manage servers, storage solutions, and virtualization technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and support for IT projects.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should have:

• MS / B.E / BCS / BS / MBA in Computer Science, IT, IS, or Electronics.
• 03 - 05 years of experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows, Linux), virtualization, and network protocols.

The age limit for this position is 28 years. General age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
